Final Image

Description:

I took a picture of the Salisbury Mens Lacrosse Team and I integrated myself into the picture, and an inspirational quote. Also, I made two of the players head big, me being one of the players. Then, I changed the lighting of the pictures so that I was lighter. I also added a frame around the image, so it would look like a picture. 

Description:
First, I downloaded all the images from the website that Mr. Boothby provided the link for us on his website. After this, I had to fiddle with which layer went where on the layer mallet. Next, I went to the website and I followed the steps of the tutorial. I opened photoshop in another window and cut all the picture so they were to fit properly in the final image. I remember a few times I  had to change the light settings on multiple different photographs. Finally, I put everything together and made it look good.

Description: I took a picture of Chris skiing from Utah, I believe. I did not like the background very much so I found a different picture of a place where I skied. I made a new layer, then I used the cutting tool to cut off Chris's head. Before I cut his head I copied it, then I pasted the copied picture into the new layer. After this, I cut the background of the original picture and put in the new picture. Next, I enlarged Chris's head by pressing Command-T and enlarging it.

Final Image

Process: I began to look for a background that involved some type of clouds that looked very mystical. Once I found a background, I had to decide what type of figure I wanted to have flying in the air. Therefore, I found a skier. I had to make the skier look somewhat fantasy, so I added a halo and wings. After that I added some doves so it looked more like an angel. I make multiple copies of the doves, so it looks like a flock of them. Also, I added fellow angles in the background. After I did all of this, I change my background color brightness. I used a tutorial for this. I did not used all the tutorial for this, I only used a few steps in it because I did not want my picture to look like the one they had on the tutorial. Using the tutorial I darkened the background, then I brightened the skier. I hope to achieve the goal that he was important and above everyone and everything in this image.

This tutorial helped me with some aspects of my lighting in the picture. However I did not use the whole tutorial, it did help me a lot.

Motivational Poster Project

Process: I took a picture I thought to be inspirational and put it into photoshop. Then I took several other pictures and incorporated them into the final image. I cut the background out of the other picture and brought them into photoshop. I put in a fellow skier, helicopter, and two matching snowmobiles. I also added an inspirational quote from thinkexist.com. I also used a cutting tutorial. The image for the cutting tutorial is located as the third picture under this paragraph. This tutorial helped me outline exactly what i want to put in m final image. It saved me a lot of time during the whole process.  Finally, I added a font that is used on many inspirational poster, which enhanced the affect it has on people.

Logo Advice

Initial:  For this logo, I used two different fonts. Also, i added a box filled with red coloring. All I wanted was something simple, yet creative. I wanted this to pop out to your eye. What do you think? What don't you like? How can i improve?





Name: For this logo, I also used two different fonts. I chose to put my last name in bigger bolder letters because i thought it was more important. However i used small, brighter letters to input my first name so it would pop. I wanted for this logo to express my last name, but also              say my first name.  What do you think? What dont you like? How can i improve?

Symbol: For this logo, I used the skiing symbol for volkl, incase you didn't know. The Volkl symbol can be two Ws (one upside down and one  right side up.) I added the E because, well it resembles my initials WE. I wanted this volkl because i love to ski. What do you think? What dont you like? How can i improve?
